The Immigration Legal Aid
We offer free legal advice and assistance regarding immigration matters. Find us in the meeting rooms above the City Council Chambers at the Main Library.
Please notice: We are closed for Christmas Holidays but we are back Thursday the 6th of February.
Udlændingeretshjælpen (The Immigration Legal Aid) provides free legal advice and assistance in the area of:
- Immigration, including help with drawing up complaints about court decisions
- Applications for family reunification
- Visa
- Travel passports
- Citizenship
- Permanent residence permits
- And residence permit extension
- Advice within public law (administrative law, social law and police law), including advice on access to documents and the preparation of complaints.
Where and When?
The service takes place once a week, Thursday 16.00-19.00, at the Main Library, in the meeting rooms above the City Council Chambers. Enter up the stairs in the main passageway between Nytorv and Nørregade.
How?
First come, first served. At the Main Library, you write your name on a list that is available from Thursday 13.00.
